The design continues to evoke the true essence of Chef Keller’s traditional French bistro, Bouchon, which first debuted in 1998. That vision is to bring the atmosphere of a French brasserie to America with all the fine details that look and feel as though one were in Paris. By incorporating timeless pieces and elements – velvet and polished brass fixtures, ornate bar and decorative floor tiles - into a contemporary, yet intimate, and inherently French environment. That authenticity remains paramount, keeping in mind the original “bouchon,” a particular style café that has existed in the Lyon province for centuries.
